Tom Branch Falls is a 60-foot waterfall in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Enter the national park and follow a gravel one-lane road (Tom Branch Road) to the parking area. You will cross a small, narrow bridge over Deep Creek right before the road dead-ends at Deep Creek Road. The parking lot is located here and is right next to the trailhead.

Tom Branch Falls one of three waterfalls in the Deep Creek area.

All the trails here are well marked and maintained. Signs list a trail name and then a number of miles. This is the distance to the trail, not the total trail length. No pets are allowed on any of the trails in Deep Creek.

An easy quarter-mile walk from the parking area is Tom Branch Falls.

Tom Branch Falls from the trail

This waterfall is on the right across the creek from the trail but you have excellent views. There are some benches and ground seating. In the warmer months, you can see people tubing down Deep Creek in front of the waterfall.

From here, you can return to the parking area the way you came, visit nearby Juney Whank Falls, or continue on the Deep Creek Trail for just over half a mile to see Indian Creek Falls.
